Shooting with a Twitter fan

At the start of the year I checked out the blog of one of our twitter followers that had made some nice replies to our posts. I was intrigued by the dramatic writing about her daily struggles but what most interest me was her challenging her self to be brave, adventurous and say “yes” to more things.

I invited Shrinking Violet to come shoot with us not knowing what she looked like or where she was but on the off chance she would like to put into action her desire to say Yes. I was thrilled to get her positive response but we still had no idea what she looked like! I asked for a selfie and we’ll the rest is best told through her own well written blog post.

I was delighted to be able to tell her a few weeks later that one of our images was to be published – not bad for her first photo shoot.
This summer I invited Violet to join me on the epic ESL Beach Shoot in Hastings and introduced her to several new photographers. You can see some of the results on her blog. She is now being booked for more shoots and we couldn’t be happier.

Soon we want to challenge another Facebook or Twitter fan to spend the day with us and make some magic on camera so if you are as brave as Violet send us a message (twitter:@eslphoto)
